If the moving company provides you with pricing estimates over the phone, you may be dealing with a moving scam. Speaking with a company representative face-to-face (or even through email) is a much better option in comparison.

Insurance companies certainly do not cover moving expenses, and anybody who tries to convince you otherwise is likely going to scam you (or at least attempt to). 

Insurance companies are not known for their generosity, and if a representative tells you that they will cover your moving costs, you should immediately be on alert and start looking for a different moving company.
